Silk Shantung Stripes

Our silk shantung stripes fabric is 100% silk and 54" wide. This trendy fabric comes in beautiful color schemes that look matte, but shimmer beautifully under light. These colors may see some irregularities in shading and weaving, and slubs that are occurring all over the fabric. These irregularities and slubs are naturally occurring and display the true beauty of this fabric. However, unlike this fabric's dupioni counterpart, these fabrics feature much less slubs on its surface.

This fabric is very similar to the original silk shantung and can be used in the same way for upholstery's and apparel creations such as dresses, ball gowns, suits and other timeless heirloom garments.

Our shantung 54" width is extra wide, not to be confused with most 44" shantung fabrics.
